How to Install the Cisco IPSEC VPN Client on Windows 8.1

The Cisco IPSEC VPN client is not officially supported on Windows 8 or 8.1. You can make it work following these steps.

1. Make sure the client is uninstalled.

2. Download the Citrix Deterministic network adapter from the following link.

3. Install the DNE and then the Cisco VPN client.
